Course Description
How you show up for someone grieving a profound loss, life-altering diagnosis, or unexpected change can be a defining moment in your relationship with them. And while grief is highly personal, it’s also a universal experience. Whether you’re a pastor, ministry leader, or friend, if you’re unsure how to respond well in these challenging situations, don’t despair—you are not alone. The course Navigating Grief can help you understand your personal grieving process and learn how to minister to those who are suffering. Led by Dr. David Wang, an emotional health expert, licensed psychologist, pastor, and editor of the Journal of Psychology and Theology, this course offers practical tools to help you “mourn with those who mourn” in a helpful and integrated way. Don’t let uncertainty overwhelm you—learn how to show up for others when they need you most.
This course is the recommended fifth course in the Certificate of Emotional Health in Ministry.
