Course Description
How can church planters be spiritually formed to not only survive but to thrive as they join God’s mission in the world? Answer: by developing a missional spirituality—an understanding and experience of the deep and abiding connection between being sent to do God’s will and being nourished by God’s provision. All too often in church planting these two things feel separated or even opposed to one another. Cultivating a missional spirituality is learning how to flourish with God while doing God’s work. In this Formation for Planters course, you’ll learn how even busy church planters can find rhythms of abiding in Christ, including time-tested spiritual practices such as silence and sabbath, but also unexpected practices such as self-awareness and exercise.
This course counts towards the Church Planting Certificate.
