Course Description

When you think of the heart, do you think of emotions only, your physical heart, or maybe simply love and romance? Modern language limits what we know as “heart,” but the Hebrew people understood “heart” as far more encompassing. This wholeheartedness brings healing to our entire selves and allows us to live in a way that also brings healing and life to the world. It leads us to ask, “What does it mean to live wholeheartedly?” In A Wholehearted and Formed Life, explore what it is to live wholeheartedly. Led by Rev. Dr. Laura Murray, ordained pastor, author, and certified spiritual director, this course guides you through the complexities of restoration, the resistance you face to being made whole, walking with loss, and waiting for complete healing. Learn to continue to walk as light in the world, with good character and faithfulness.

Laura Murray

Laura Murray is an ordained pastor, author, speaker, and certified spiritual director. For over 15 years she has worked closely with individual leaders and groups in the areas of leader development and spiritual formation. As the pastor of spiritual formation at Highland Park Pres, she wrote formational devotion guides and studies, and created and led worship services. She is currently working on her doctorate in Leading Change at Fuller Seminary. She is married to Craig, has two incredible children, an energetic pup, and lives in the Dallas area.
